Michael Berman is a fine art and assignment marine photographer with twenty five years of experience photographing for nautical art collectors, boat builders, marine engine manufacturers and national sailing and motor boating magazines. He lives on the Olympic Peninsula near Port Townsend, Washington.

This web site features two portfolios of Michael’s nautical photography. The fine art portfolio showcases his limited edition black and white photographs of classic wooden schooners, sailing ships and yachts. These photographs are inspired by the historic sailing images of Rosenfeld and Beken of Cowes but are photographed in Michael’s contemporary style and printed for collectors using archival digital techniques.
